New Names, Same Great Service

April 02, 2025

Clarity and simplicity matter—especially when it comes to the technology services businesses depend on every day. That's why we've updated the names of two core offerings. While the services themselves remain unchanged, the updated names better reflect how each plan functions and help eliminate confusion across teams.

If you're currently using ComTech VoIP or Complete Care with Cyber Armor Limited, here's what's changing—and what's staying exactly the same.

Complete Care with Cyber Armor Limited Is Now Called "Complete Care Remote with Cyber Armor"

Complete Care with Cyber Armor Limited has always been a popular option for businesses that primarily need remote IT support. The plan includes the same high-level support, cybersecurity, and response times as our full-service plan—with just one difference: onsite visits are billable.

To more accurately represent what the plan offers, we are renaming it Complete Care Remote with Cyber Armor.

What's Staying the Same:

  • Full Cyber Armor security services

  • Unlimited remote support

  • Strategic IT guidance

  • Rapid response and resolution

  • Onsite service available as needed (billed separately)

The only update is the name. "Remote" communicates the model more clearly and avoids the misconception that something is missing from the plan. This is still the same powerful service it has always been—ideal for businesses that want comprehensive IT support delivered remotely.

ComTech VoIP Is Now Called "FlexTalk"

The other name change applies to our phone system. What was previously known as ComTech VoIP is now FlexTalk.

"VoIP," which stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol, is a technical term. It accurately describes the service, but it's not always user-friendly. FlexTalk is a more modern, intuitive name for the same phone system that's already in place—no changes to features, functionality, or pricing.

FlexTalk Still Includes:

  • Local, responsive support

  • Cloud-hosted and feature rich

  • Call routing, voicemail to email, and eFax

  • Flexible communication via Deskphone, Desktop App or Mobile App

The service and system powering FlexTalk remains unchanged. The new name simply makes it easier to refer to, especially for teams who use the system daily.

Why Change the Names?

Names matter—especially when they impact how team members communicate about support plans, request help, or make purchasing decisions. The old terms "Limited" and "VoIP" were technically accurate, but didn't always make it clear how the plans functioned or what users could expect.

The updated names are straightforward, intuitive, and aligned with the way most businesses operate today.
